I find great meaning in helping my clients. After all, they turn to me in pivotal moments of their business dealings and financial lives. Whatever the issue or client, my job is the same: to protect their interests and guide them to success.

Yes, I am a seasoned and skilled trial attorney, but I see litigation as a last resort – though an important one. My job is to solve a problem. So, regardless of whether my clients and I are in full bore litigation or in delicate negotiations with an important counterparty, I am always thinking: how to get the job done, and done well. In over thirty years of practicing, I often find solutions that are outside the box. That's because I don’t see a conflict as a zero-sum game. I’m known for my practical mindset and creativity. My solutions frequently save my clients time and money.

In my commercial litigation practice, I handle private company and owner disputes, including business divorces; executive employment disputes involving wrongful termination, severance, non-solicitation and non-compete issues; board member and officer representation; financial, banking and securities disputes; unfair competition, business torts, and fiduciary duty breaches; employment and discrimination issues; real estate and development project disputes; FINRA customer claims; and complex contract disputes of all types. I also handle arbitration and mediation before the AAA, JAMs, and other tribunals.

Given my track record and dedication, my clients now turn to me for all their corporate transactional legal needs, as their fractional general counsel. For them, I manage everything: start-up and formation work, corporate governance, and of course, all the commercial agreements integral to their businesses and financial lives, such as, stock and asset purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, licensing agreements, partnership agreements, and employment agreements. Aside from drafting and negotiating their company agreements, I advise on issues that arise in their day-to-day operations, and handle them as well.

My law practice is just one part of me. I am a devoted father to a wonderful, clever, funny rockstar daughter working in DC and a wonderful, intelligent rockstar son with high-functioning autism. I'm passionate about creating supportive communities for people with autism. For over six years, I was a Director, Officer, and outside General Counsel to Autism Communities based in Long Island. Currently, I am a volunteer NYS Advocacy Ambassador for Autism Speaks.
